Arrival in Leh
Arrival at Leh Airport (3,500 m altitude). Meet & greet followed by hotel transfer. Complete rest is mandatory to adjust to high altitude. Hydrate well, avoid heavy meals & physical exertion. Evening (if comfortable): short walk around Leh Market. Overnight stay in Leh
Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast (9:00 AM): Visit Shanti Stupa – panoramic sunrise & city views. Explore Leh Palace – ancient royal heritage. Proceed towards Sham Valley: Stop at Hall of Fame Museum (Indian Army museum). Visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Experience Magnetic Hill (gravity-defying illusion point). Witness Sangam – Sangam Point Zanskar Indus confluence. Return by evening (5–6 PM) Overnight stay in Leh
Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Start early (8:00 AM): Drive via Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft). Short photo stop at the top (weather permitting). Arrival in Nubra: Reach Nubra Valley by afternoon. Visit Diskit Monastery (giant Buddha statue view). Explore Hunder Sand Dunes. Optional: Double-humped Bactrian camel ride. Overnight stay in Nubra
Nubra to Pangong Lake
After breakfast (8:00 AM): Drive through scenic villages via Shyok route (subject to road conditions). Arrival at Pangong: Reach the breathtaking Pangong Lake by afternoon. Spend time soaking in the changing colors of the lake. Photography, relaxation & lakeside walk. Overnight stay near Pangong (camp/cottage)
Pangong to Leh
Early morning: Witness sunrise at Pangong Lake 🌄 Drive back to Leh: Cross Chang La Pass (one of the highest passes). En route visits: Thiksey Monastery – resembles Potala Palace. Shey Palace – former summer capital of Ladakh. Arrival in Leh by evening Overnight stay in Leh
